"Fun after Die" brings together a serie of ten songs produced in the last three years. All these songs embody a festive and celebratory feeling in which sounds from very different backgrounds converge: Electronic, Pop, Trap, Cyberpunk, French-core, R&B, House or Trance...
In a way, Mariokissme makes an irony and travesty of the current music production process by making use of melodic and vocal clichés, simple repetitions, or beginnings that are actually endings. The complicity Xe seeks with the listener in Zie songs reflects an outdated “Joie de vivre" that is highly needed today. It features a free and queer spirit that seeks to be part of a scene under construction and with infinite possibilities. Zie productions are still a kind of musical activism without explicit lyrics that are part of this staging in which Xe positions Zie body in the foreground.
